Please visit www.cmimgmt.com to learn more about our company!\n The Quality Control & Safety Manager shall develop, implement, and oversee all quality programs associated with contracts services and be responsible for preparing and enforcing the safety program at CMI’s customer site in Washington, DC.\nKey Job Functions\nShall be on-site during the client's regular working hours and shall be available on-site within one hour after the client's regular working hours.\nResponsible for the verification and compliance of work standards and timeliness and accuracy of the work performed\nResponsible for the oversight of audits, monthly reporting, and compliance with contract requirements\nConduct inspections of work areas, job sites, and work crews every day work is being performed to ensure that all Contractor operations are being conducted safely\nProvide assessment-driven corrective actions and process adjustments as appropriate in a timely manner \nReviews and validates reports of findings and ensures that action is taken or recommended\nCompletes and submits all required Safety Data Sheets\nResponsible for being familiar with the customer’s Occupational Emergency Plan and training others\nResponsible for developing and submitting the Hazard Communication Plan to the customer as required\nRecommend changes in administrative procedures, methods, and standards\nEstablish and maintain an inspection and surveillance system to ensure that the work performed conforms to the contract requirements \nDocument and maintain a file of all scheduled and performed inspections and surveillances, inspection and surveillance results, and dates and details of corrective and preventive actions.\n High school diploma; BA degree preferred\nAt least 3 years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS and Safety programs for a workforce providing facility maintenance services within a multi-site federal facility totaling at least 1.7M square feet.\nRequired to be fully conversant in English\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional customer service skills\nPrefer current OSHA 30-hour construction safety training or equivalent\nFamiliarity with requirements of EM 385-1-1\n COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS\nTeamwork\nResults orientation/operational excellence\nHolding self and other accountable\nOperational business thinking\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCMI is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
