Data Engineer to strengthen our engineering capability, with particular emphasis on data migration, integration, automation and data quality.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong technical ability with ownership, pace and attention to detail.\nLocation: Clapham Junction\nSalary: £70,000-£85,000 DOE\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, build and maintain reliable production data pipelines and transformations.\n\nLead the technical delivery of complex data migrations and integrations, including mapping, transformation and validation.\n\nBuild automated reconciliation and validation controls to demonstrate data completeness and accuracy.\n\nDevelop high-quality solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt and integration technologies.\n\nInvestigate complex data issues and take ownership through to resolution.\n\nAutomate manual or fragile processes to improve reliability and efficiency.\n\nContribute to code reviews, testing and technical design.\n\nProduce clear technical documentation and ensure solutions can be supported by the wider team.\n\nWork with project and business teams to understand requirements, dependencies and risks.\n\nProvide realistic estimates and communicate delivery risks early.\n\nSupport junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and ways of working.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nStrong commercial experience as a Data Engineer working with production systems.\n\nExcellent SQL and strong Python development skills.\n\nExperience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from multiple systems.\n\nStrong experience delivering data migrations, transformations or complex integration projects.\n\nExperience with modern cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake.\n\nExperience with dbt or comparable transformation frameworks.\n\nStrong understanding of automated testing, reconciliation and data quality.\n\nMethodical approach with excellent attention to detail.\n\nStrong sense of ownership and the ability to work at pace.\n\nAbility to communicate technical issues clearly and escalate risks early.\n\nExperience supporting and developing less experienced engineers. \n\nExperience with Azure Data Factory, Airbyte, APIs and CRM data migrations would be
