As a Material Coordinator on our National Accounts Material Management team, you'll make sure the right material gets to the right place at the right time. You'll execute and maintain material purchasing, item data, and supplier coordination for our National Accounts dock equipment, dock door, and hollow metal (HM) programs, supporting our national customers.\nWhat You'll Do\nCapEx / Dock & Door Program Support\nPlace and track purchase orders for national account CapEx programs\nSupport program management with status updates and logistics coordination\nSupport dock and door programs for national accounts\nManage hotlist distribution and damage follow-up\nMonitor vendor and supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and lead times\nHollow Metal & Production Support\nPurchase materials for HM CapEx and HM stock programs\nCreate and maintain items in the ERP, including locations, cycle counts, min/max levels, and labels\nResolve receiving issues such as over/under shipments, RMAs, and vendor credits\nSupport HM production setup, including shop coordination and material planning\nTrack supplier performance and flag concerns to leadership\nRelated Administrative Duties\nCreate, issue, and follow up on purchase orders, confirming pricing and delivery dates with suppliers\nProcess requisitions from Sales, Project Management, and Production, and obtain and compare supplier quotes\nTrack open orders, expedite late shipments, and keep internal stakeholders informed\nReconcile receipts against POs and packing slips, and work with Receiving and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies\nProcess RMAs, returns, and supplier credits through completion\nMaintain accurate item master, pricing, and supplier records\nPrepare reports and trackers on open POs, supplier performance, and program status\nKeep purchasing documentation organized and audit-ready\nRespond to internal and supplier inquiries, join team and supplier meetings, and contribute to SOPs and process improvements\nWhat You Bring\nSome college coursework preferred (business, supply chain, project management, or a related field); equivalent experience welcome\n1-3 years in purchasing, material coordination, inventory, project coordination, or a related role\nExperience with any ERP system; IFS is a plus\nStrong attention to detail and organization across multiple programs and deadlines\nClear, professional communication with suppliers and internal teams (Sales, Project Management, Production, Logistics, Accounting)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel\nInterest in project management and process improvement\nNice to have: Familiarity with dock equipment, overhead doors, hollow metal, or door hardware; experience with National Account or rollout programs.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily office-based in a climate-controlled setting, with some exposure to the warehouse environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
