You will be reporting to Vice President, Core IT & Applications who is in Denmark together with the majority of the infrastructure team. The team’s strategy is to simplify, automate and optimize, to work smarter, not harder.\nResponsibilities and challenges\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will be working closely with our Azure architect to build and maintain our infrastructure in Azure. We use Infrastructure as Code so the ideal candidate will have experience with Terraform and PowerShell.\nYou will be a part of a friendly and diverse team striving to provide our clients with outstanding technical advice and customer service. The successful candidate will be someone who has deep knowledge of On-premises infrastructure and Azure.\nThe main responsibilities and challenges in the job are:\nDaily operation tasks like the creation of subscriptions, VMs, backups, and patching using Azure Update Manager.\nAssists projects with general Azure guidance, troubleshooting, cost optimization, etc.\nAutomize more of our daily operations tasks using Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure Automation runbooks.\nAdminister Azure Reservations.\nTogether with our Azure architect extend our Azure cloud architecture design documentation.\nImplement our landing zone concept in Terraform.\nImplement Azure policies to support our cloud architecture.\nExtend our Conditional Access rules and MFA implementation.\nExtend our Entra and Azure resource PIM solutions.\nCreate best practices for Azure documentation for our colleagues.\nCollaborate with the rest of IT regarding users, devices, security, and other related matters.\nWorking with security products like Microsoft Defender for cloud.\nBi-lateral coordinator with local and global colleagues \nTechnical report writing \nLiaise with clients as required \nQualifications and personal skills\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in Azure administration.\nExperience with Azure Cloud, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining resources in the cloud environment.\nProven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in Azure.\nDeep knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExceptional skills in written and verbal English.\nPersonal skills:\nSelf-motivated and proactive \nStrong communication skills\nService minded\nTeam player\nCurios\nWe offer\nTo work at DHI means being part of an organisation that is the global leader in solving the world’s toughest challenges in water environment.
