They need to understand and implement requirements based on best technical solution, consider reuse of the developed code, are also responsible for technical testing of the code and need to use automation wherever possible. DevOps Engineers need to be team players who actively share their knowledge in the team and bring in their experiences as well as improvement ideas to increase quality and further develop the systems.
