In this position you will play a crucial role in supporting our vision of becoming a great place to work for all.\n\nAt DHL Supply Chain Uganda, we’re looking for…\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities: \n\nGather, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to warehouse and transportation operations, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement\n\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and workflows within the warehouse & transport logistics domain.\n\nPropose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.\n\nWork closely with IT team to assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.\n\nUtilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for warehouse and transportation services.\n\nProvide actionable insights to management for data-driven decision-making.\n\nEngage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements or new technological implementations.\n\nDefine, track, and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse and transport operations\n\nProvision of solutions / analytical support in the pursuit of new business/ renewal of existing customer business\n\nProvision of solutions / analytical support for implementation / re-engineering needs for key/ strategic projects as assigned.\n\nTo establish optimal costing / commercialization for New / Existing business.\n\nEngage and work closely with operations team on implementation of assigned projects.\n\nEngage and work closely with BD and sector team on proposing solution design needs.\n\nChampioned assigned practice / solution subject matter expertise- build depths via research and application, training, engagement on relevant projects.\n\nOutline solutions and commercial proposals in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participating in customer presentations were required.\n\nDevelop and maintain good and effective communication across the business.\n\nActively seek to understand and apply innovation be it facility, fleet, technology or safety to solutions.\n\nQualifications, Skills and Experience:\n\nFamiliarity with Warehouse & Transport management systems and logistics software\n\nProficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms.\n\nExperience in CLASS/Auto Card and technical aptitude for new business developments\n\nIT literate (Advanced Microsoft office/Power BI)\n\nAbility to understand a strategic perspective and translate into work plan\n\nIn-depth knowledge and understanding of wall-to-wall standard operating procedures and EWM system functionality\n\nProven ability to translate user requirements into practical and feasible solutions\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Plant, electrical or mechanical\n\nProven experience (3 years) in business analysis,
