You will be required to pass enhanced security vetting as part of the recruitment process.\nThis isn't a standard warehouse role. At DHL Supply Chain, we run warehouse operations inside prisons supporting the HMPPS Canteen Service. This service allows offenders to use their own money to buy approved items such as food, toiletries and everyday essentials - with our teams responsible for picking, packing and distributing these orders within the prison.\n A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE\nAssisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)\nLine management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work\nEnsuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations\nStaff training and inductions\nMeeting and exceeding operational targets\n THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO\nWe are open to applicants from all backgrounds.
