This role combines strong data analytics capabilities with internal audit methodology to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our audit processes. You will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics tools, including Alteryx, Databricks and Power BI, to analyse large datasets, identify trends and anomalies, and provide data-driven insights to inform and improve our internal controls and risk management.\nQualifications and Experience:\nProven hands-on experience with Alteryx, Databricks, SQL/Python for data extraction, transformation, & workflow automation and creating interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. (Certification will be added advantage)\nA master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or Accounting & Finance (will be added advantage)\nMinimum of 3 - 6 years’ experience in data analytics with experience as an internal/ process/SOX auditor, or risk management consulting.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills to find out deeper insights.\nUnderstanding of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls.\nFamiliarity with cloud data environments and governance frameworks\nAreas of responsibility: Key accountabilities:\nDesign, develop, and execute deep dive data analytics routines and repeatable workflows using tools such as Alteryx, Databricks or Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems, such as ERPs and other databases.\nCreate and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to communicate audit findings, risks, and trends to audit teams and senior management.\nCollaborate with internal audit teams, IT and business stakeholders to understand audit objectives, IT systems, business processes and identify opportunities where data analytics can be applied to enhance audit effectiveness.\nIdentify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and potential fraud indicators through data analysis\nLeverage AI tools to enhance audit procedures, automate repetitive tasks, and generate insights from unstructured data.\nContribute to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.\nLeadership Attributes Required:\nWin Through Execution\nQuickly Build strong relationships ‘on the ground’ with business partners.\nDeliver a strong performance as a team leader on key assignments.
