From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.\nAbout the role\nThis role is site-based at Diageo’s east Belfast packaging facility, which runs a 24/7 operation. The site packages over 20 brands, including Guinness Draught, Extra Stout, and Foreign Extra Stout, Harp, Hop House 13, Smithwick’s, and Rockshore.\nAs an Operator, you’ll be responsible for:\nQuality control of the line\nOperating packaging machine processes while following standard operating procedures\nPreparing the line for shift handovers\nHealth and safety compliance is key, and you’ll monitor this alongside other KPIs and targets including quality, hygiene, waste, and efficiency.\nYou’ll be able to demonstrate the following:\nAbility to work well within a team and make effective decisions\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nAmbition to support Team Leaders and grow into a leadership role\nA continuous improvement approach with confidence to suggest new ideas\nExperience/skills required:\nExperience in a production environment is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
