With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.\nIt’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.\nAbout the role\nWork at the tier 1 level to lead and motivate the shift team to take accountability to deliver Special performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost) and morale.\nEnsure that all health, safety and environment, quality, cost and reliability standards are met and driving conformance to regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. ISO/HACCP etc.) in packaging.\nImplement significant change within a continuous improvement culture. High level of engagement and leadership and ME methods and tools\nManage the high level of day to day complexities in a complex and lively operational environment to deliver high quality products in a safe manner to plan. This will need a well-developed understanding of the future demand on their lines or area. \nLead line team in the deployment of MMS practices\nDrive 5S quality standards and steadfast compliance to 5S standards.\nActively spend 80% of time on shop floor\nExperience/skills required:\nUpholding standards through practices\nOwn critical metric targets across shifts as well as for the line/process.\nSet and deliver the team goals for quality, safety and waste \nFollow leader standard work and ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures\nContinuously drive for the next level of performance. Be ambitious on action planning and delivery\nSign off production plan\nInterpret requirements e.g. Asset Care, 5S and deploy resources to make it happen.\nCompletely accountable for planning and driving the Asset Care agenda for the shift\nDevelop team morale, recognise great performance and take timely action to address under performance where vital\nProblem solving for performance\nEnsure accurate application of RCPS through role modelling and leadership. Raise 5 why’s as defined by agreed trigger points and lead situational problem solving on shift. \nReact immediately to issues as they are exposed. Own Accident reports and non-conforming product\nEngage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to discuss persistent performance issues.\nLeading Change for continuous improvement\nManage and build capability of the team\nInfluence support functions to support their improvement initiatives \nBuild a \"high performing team”. Lead the team through defined phases of development. Identify capability needs of the team members and the team.\nQualifications:\nAdvanced formal training or further education or qualified through experience NEBOSH qualification or willing to complete it within 12 months \nRelevant IBD qualification (General Certificate in Spirits/Beer Packaging) or willing to complete within 12 months\nExperience:\nProven demonstrated ability in production management.
