And it’s why we reward them with the career-defining opportunities that they deserve.\nAbout the role\nOur Beer operations are made up of approximately 400 employees who are engaged in roles across four locations (St James's Gate, LittleConnell, Belfast Packaging and Runcorn Packaging). As a Process Controller, you'll:\nManufacture products of the highest quality to agreed customer service levels, safely and efficiently.\nOperate 2 keg lines and related Process Plant which produces almost 7 million kegs annually consisting of 25 different beer types, 4 different keg sizes and 50 different SKU’s.\nDrive the Process Continuous Improvement agenda in the Keg Plant.\nYour key responsibilities and accountabilities will be as follows:\nAt all times adhere to Diageo health and safety, environmental, and food safety standards.\nUnderstand the functions and workings of machines and perform autonomous maintenance tasks.\nManage and control all processes including operation of packaging machinery.\nCarry out quality analyses relevant to the role, and ensure quality is right the first time and all data input.\nApply Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques.\nWork Pattern\nIn this role you'll primarily be on day shift (Mon-Fri) however some shift cover, and flexibility will be required at times.\nAbout you\nWe’re looking for people with character: driven, resilient, and open-minded. You’ll be commercially astute, target-driven driven, and flexible - as our work can change quickly.\nWhen it comes to experience, you'll be able to demonstrate the following:\nDemonstrated detailed understanding of Brewing/Packaging processes, Quality & Environmental systems and Engineering/Maintenance.\nUnderstand how to apply diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a production environment.\nExperience of applying continuous improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience of working in a high-performance team and delivering agreed objectives.\nUnderstand and be proficient in information systems, e.g. SAP, Harford, Microsoft Office & MES etc.\nKnowledge of risk standards (Quality H&S Environment) Safety and hygiene compliance procedures.\nDemonstrate a detailed understanding of the Permit to Work system and H&S statutory requirements/ responsibilities/ obligations to the appropriate level.\nWorking with Us\nFlexibility is key to our success.
