From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.\nAbout the role :\nAs a Process Operator within our hardworking team at Baileys Nangor Road you’ll play a pivotal role, responsible for the control of programs to produce Baileys Irish Cream and its component parts.\nYou’ll be a member of a team responsible for ensuring that relevant risk management procedures e.g. H&S, C&E, DIAGEO Quality Standards and Environmental considerations are adhered to. \nSupervise and optimise our production processes to maximise our performance always. Successfully achieving the role objectives will require a multi-plant trained operator trained to carry out quality and first line maintenance activities.\nPerformance in the role will be supported by a People Performance Management process which will include individual and team training and development programmes.\nThis role is fully integrated into the Process Plant team with craft and QC staff, excellent team working and communication skills are required. \nThere will be an ongoing need to embrace new technology, new products, new practices, and continuous improvement.\nHealth and safety compliance is key, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including quality, service, cost and asset care. \nExperience/skills required:\nWe’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.\nYou’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills. \nYou’ll ideally have experience working in a production environment, and have demonstrable knowledge of Quality Assurance, Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles. \nLeaving Certificate Standard of education is minimum requirement. An engineering or science qualification would be a significant advantage. \nThe successful candidate will have proven ability to take on new technology. Experience of operating Process Plants, strong capability on PC's for data manipulation & recording. \nDemonstrated problem solving and RCA skills & strong team working & communication skills will be important.\nIt'd be great if you had a knowledge of working in a fast-moving consumer goods industry however this is not crucial. \nWorking with Us\nFlexibility is key to our success.
