From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.\nAbout the role:\nKey accountabilities\nTo provide a comprehensive maintenance backup service for production activities.\n\nTo understand and perform isolations for Diageo and contract personnel\n\nTo attend and participate in departmental meetings.\n\nTo raise and report plant issues via SAP and white board and shift passdowns.\n\nTo actively engage in issues regarding health and safety in the workplace and raise such issues via near miss reporting system.\n\nTo understand departmental key objectives. To oversee the important performance indicators related to your role.\n\nTo become familiar with the use of appropriate tools i.e. Brewmaxx, Braumat, and MES for fault finding and diagnoses.\n\nTo ensure relevant and appropriate PPE is in use at all times\n\nTo provide project management for continuous improvement projects and facilitation for teams engaged in such work\n\nTo ensure optimum availability and process efficiency of plant in order to produce products to agreed customer service levels within budget ·\n\nResponsible for leading the development and delivery of technical skills and assessment within the production teams\n\nTo demonstrate flexibility in terms of demeanour and work practices both within teams and departments working across all areas as need decides\n\nTo demonstrate a strong commitment to personal & team development, taking personal responsibility through agreed training & development programs\n\nTo demonstrate commitment and progress to world class asset care.\n\nTo apply Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques such as RCA, RCM, 5S, SPC and any new techniques that emerge to drive site performance towards world class in terms of customer service and quality\n\nTo understand all site critical performance indicators, to manage those relevant to the role and act to ensure that they are achieved\n\nTo support other team members and develop positive relationships with colleagues, including contract personnel and suppliers.\n\nTo use business support systems such as SAP to support all aspects of the asset care plan e.g.\n\nTo manage procurement of materials and services & appropriation of stores items\n\nTo record the resources used on maintenance activities\n\nTo collect plant history and allow downtime records, mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) to be recorded\n\nPurpose of the role\nTo maintain and improve brewery production equipment with a view to minimising downtime attributed to equipment failures\n\nTo utilise software based systems for the logging and historical records of machine faults\n\nTo drive continuous improvement through a structured approach using individual/team skills and utilising systematic processes e.g. CI, RCPS\n\nDemonstrates a strong commitment to personal & team development, through agreed training & development programs\n\nPro-actively pursue & adopt a safe and professional approach to all aspects of individual & team based activity\n\nResponsibility for optimisation of production process in line with Continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nResponsibility for delivering technical solutions and assistance to packaging team members\n\nThe nature of the production plant geography is such that the individual will be required to work alone for periods of time.\n\nWorking with Us\nFlexibility is key to our success.
