The role ensures stable, secure, and efficient SAP platform operations while driving cloud adoption, system optimization, release management, integrations, and compliance with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity standards.\nThe individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, infrastructure providers, SAP support teams, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of SAP services and continuous improvement of the SAP ecosystem.\nKey Responsibilities\nSAP S/4HANA Cloud Platform Management\nManage and govern SAP S/4HANA Cloud environments across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production landscapes.\nAct as the primary owner of SAP Basis and technical platform operations.\nMonitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity utilization.\nEnsure adherence to SAP best practices and cloud operational standards.\nCoordinate with SAP support for incident resolution, service requests, and escalations.\nRelease & Change Management\nManage SAP S/4HANA Cloud quarterly release cycles.\nAssess release impacts and coordinate testing activities with business and functional teams.\nPlan and govern transport management processes.\nLead change management activities ensuring minimal business disruption.\nMaintain release calendars and deployment schedules.\nSecurity & Compliance\nCollaborate with SAP Security and GRC teams to ensure compliance with corporate policies.\nSupport Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations.\nEnsure compliance with SOX, GDPR, internal controls, and audit requirements.\nReview system security configurations and vulnerability assessments.\nSupport periodic audits and remediation activities.\nSystem Monitoring & Performance Optimization\nEstablish proactive monitoring using SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager (where applicable), and enterprise monitoring tools.\nIdentify performance bottlenecks and drive optimization initiatives.\nIntegration & Technical Architecture\nManage technical integrations involving:SAP BTP\nSAP Integration Suite\nSAP Ariba\nSAP SuccessFactors\nSAP Concur\nThird-party applications\n\nWork with enterprise architecture teams to define integration and connectivity standards.\nSupport API management and middleware operations.\nSAP Cloud Operations & Governance\nDefine and maintain SAP operational procedures and runbooks.\nManage SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance metrics.\nEnsure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.\nDrive operational excellence through automation and process improvements.\nMaintain landscape documentation and technical architecture records.\nVendor & Stakeholder Management\nManage SAP support partners and managed service providers.\nReview service delivery performance against contractual SLAs.\nBuild strong relationships with business leaders and functional teams.\nProvide technical leadership for SAP platform strategy and roadmap initiatives.\nTeam Leadership\nLead and mentor Basis administrators, cloud platform specialists, and support teams.\nDefine team objectives, performance measures, and development plans.\nFoster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.\nSAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Technology, or SAP BTP preferred.\nExperience\n10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience.\n5+ years managing SAP S/4HANA environments.\n3+ years working with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud Edition.\nExperience leading SAP Basis teams and managing external service providers.\nExperience supporting global SAP deployments and large-scale enterprise environments.\nLeadership Competencies\nStrategic thinking and technology leadership\nStrong stakeholder management\nVendor and contract management\nProblem-solving and decision-making\nExcellent communication and influencing skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nContinuous improvement mindset\nPreferred Industry Experience\nFMCG / Consumer Goods\nManufacturing\nRetail\nShared Services Organizations\nGlobal Enterprise SAP Landscapes\nLead professionals are individual contributors\nRequires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines\nHas knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others;
