The group’s diversity is an important factor in delivering the highest quality brands to East African consumers and long-term value to East African investors.\nEABL operates within a multi-cultural, multinational, multi-currency environment, dealing with various regulatory, tax and compliance requirements\nEABL is a Public Listed Company (Plc) listed on the Securities/Stock Exchange in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.\nRole Purpose:\nTo manage a brewing operation in a shift to be able to produce quality wort and beer at optimum cost in most efficient manner at a safest way while maintaining good team morale.\nTop accountability\nPlan and acquire the requirements for the shift\nTeam management including development and coaching\nFoster good occupational health and environment practices during production and Maintenance\nMaintain good working relation within the team and with other shifts\nManagement of the Complete Brewing process from milling, wort production, fermentation and filtration\nUpholding and advancing quality standards by ensuring Quality is maintained at source\nMaintain hygiene of the brewhouse and cellars, including vessels Cleaning in place\nUnderstand and use MMS best Practices (Tools and Techniques) to drive Improvements and performance\nUnderstand Quality triggers and Use Escalation Matrix and use it effectively on process deviation and breakdowns for support.\nManage the assets and processes on shift basis\nManage costs by ensuring minimal process waste and inventory management\nFacilitate problem solving processes\nLead continuous improvement initiatives at shift level\nFoster smooth two-way effective communication\nEffect generation of reports and records\nMaintain basic chemical hygiene and chemical handling\nEnsure beer and material posting is done on time in SAP\nExperience / skills required:\nQualification\n1. Bsc in Food Science and Technology or any other Degree in the field of natural sciences studies.\n2. At least 2 years experience in active Brewing Practices in an established brewery\n3.
