The position requires strong technical knowledge of tax matters, analytical skills to identify potential risks, and proven experience in meeting filing deadlines and compliance obligations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy, responsibility, and effective time management to deliver accurate results in a dynamic environment.\nThis role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of tax legislation, including direct, indirect and excise taxes, reporting requirements, and local compliance processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nMain responsibilities:\nPrepare Magnetic Media in Colombia.\nPrepare working papers for provisional Income Tax payments and ensure timely submission.\nPrepare Annual Income Tax (ISR) working papers and support in the preparation of final annual returns.\nCompile and review Transfer Pricing information in coordination with local and global teams.\nProvide support during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.\nOversee and review deliverables prepared by external service providers, ensuring quality and completeness of annual tax packages.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, including tax provisions and reconciliations.\nCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Global Tax teams to ensure alignment and consistency of information.\nContribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax function.\nPreparation, review, and issuance of withholding certificates.\nPreparation and reconciliation of PYA and OTP at the corporate level.\nReview of compliance with internal controls.\nPrepare tax account reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies as appropriate.\nQualifications / experience\nCertified public accountant, postgraduate studies in taxes (desired), Tax policies updates\nMinimum 3 years\nEnglish level of B1.\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar, Power BI, power query).\nStrong technical knowledge of direct taxes (Income Tax, Magnetic Media) \nFlexibility is key to our success.
