From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.\nAbout this role:\nThe Warehouse & Logistics Manager is a senior site leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational management of finished goods warehousing, materials management, logistics, and plant planning at one of the world’s largest spirits manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of materials and finished products while delivering customer service, cost, inventory, quality, and employee engagement objectives.\nThe position serves as a critical link between manufacturing, supply planning, procurement, production, logistics, quality, finance, HR, and corporate functions, translating business requirements into effective site supply-chain strategies and execution.\nKey Accountabilities\nLead the Warehouse, Materials, Finished Goods, Logistics, and Planning organizations, providing clear direction, accountability, and people development.\nDevelop and execute short- and long-term warehouse, logistics, inventory, and capacity strategies aligned with business and customer requirements.\nOwn site planning activities, including capacity planning, resource requirements, inventory strategy, production volumes, and supply-risk management.\nEnsure reliable finished-goods transportation and warehouse operations to achieve high levels of customer service and schedule adherence.\nManage warehouse and shipping budgets, balancing service, cost, productivity, inventory, and operational efficiency.\nMaintain strong inventory integrity and product availability while minimizing excess inventory, write-offs, and operational waste.\nLead cross-functional problem solving and root-cause resolution for issues affecting planning, materials, production, logistics, procurement, systems, and suppliers.\nEstablish and improve operating processes using continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma, DMAIC, TPM, RCM, and Manufacturing Excellence.\nLead the logistics and warehouse elements of the Manufacturing Management System (MMS) and drive sustainable operational improvements.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, GMP, food safety, quality, regulatory, and dangerous-goods transportation requirements.\nPartner with Quality and Food Safety teams to maintain ISO/FSSC/HACCP systems and standards.\nDevelop hourly employees and leaders to operate in a self-directed, accountable, and high-performing environment.\nDrive employee engagement and establish a culture where safety, quality, service, continuous improvement, and accountability are embedded in daily operations.\nPerformance Expectations\nThe role is accountable for delivering measurable improvements and maintaining high operating standards, including:\nZero Harm: Own warehouse and logistics safety performance and improvement plans.\n>95% Schedule Adherence: Deliver reliable supply and distribution performance.\n Maintain leading distribution quality standards.\n>75% Employee Engagement: Build an engaged, capable, and high-performing organization.\nOptimize inventory, warehouse capacity, transportation costs, labor, and operating budgets.\nContinuously improve service, productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency.\nLeadership Profile\nThe successful candidate is a strategic supply-chain and operations leader who can balance long-term business strategy with hands-on operational execution. They must be an effective communicator and influential cross-functional leader capable of working across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, HR, finance, quality, and corporate organizations.\nThe role requires strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, financial, and people-leadership capabilities, with the ability to make sound decisions in a complex, highly regulated manufacturing environment.\nExperience/skills required:\nBachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.\nSignificant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse operations, logistics, or planning, preferably within consumer products.\nStrong knowledge of supply-chain planning, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.\nStrong SAP/MRP and warehouse management system capability, including HighJump WMS.\nDemonstrated experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.\nExcellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong understanding of safety, quality, GMP, food safety, regulatory compliance, and transportation requirements.\nWorking with Us\nFlexibility is key to our success.
