As AI transforms how software is built and operated, we're extending that mission to help developers take AI agents from experimentation to production with confidence.\nWe're a globally distributed team of engineers and builders who care deeply about solving complex technical problems, contributing to open source, and creating products developers love.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a talented Fullstack Engineer with strong Node.js and TypeScript experience to join our growing AI & DevEx team, led by Casper Nielsen.\nYou'll help build the next generation of Diagrid's AI infrastructure and developer tools, working across backend services, APIs, and user-facing applications.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building products end-to-end, solving complex technical challenges, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.\nYou'll work closely with engineering and product leadership to turn ideas into production-ready capabilities, with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and developer experience.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild end-to-end product features: Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks.\n\nDevelop scalable backend services: Build APIs, integrations, and services that power Diagrid's AI infrastructure and developer-facing products.\n\nWork on AI infrastructure: Help develop the tools and services that enable developers to build, deploy, manage, and operate AI agents reliably in production.\n\nOwn features from concept to production: Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.\n\nCreate great developer experiences: Build intuitive interfaces, APIs, and workflows that make complex distributed systems easier to use.\n\nCollaborate across teams: Work closely with AI, platform, product, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges and deliver customer value.\n\nChampion engineering quality: Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, contribute to architectural decisions, and continuously improve engineering practices.\n\nSolve challenging technical problems: Work on distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, integrations, and the reliability challenges that come with production AI applications.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong professional experience developing production applications with TypeScript and Node.js.\n\nExperience building modern web applications using React or a similar frontend framework.\n\nSolid understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and service integrations.\n\nExperience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native development, containerization, and modern deployment practices.\n\nUnderstanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, performance, security, and maintainability.\n\nAbility to independently own technical projects and deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and comfort working in an environment where requirements evolve.\n\nClear communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams.\n\nA product mindset and genuine interest in understanding the problems developers and customers are trying to solve.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience building AI-powered applications, AI agents, or LLM integrations.\n\nFamiliarity with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, or agent development patterns.\n\nExperience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices.\n\nKnowledge of Dapr, Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud infrastructure.\n\nExperience with real-time systems, messaging, or asynchronous workflows.\n\nContributions to open-source projects or experience working with developer-focused products.\n\nExperience working in an early-stage or high-growth technology startup.\n\nWorking Hours\nDiagrid's team works across Europe and North America.\nOur India team’s day typically starts around 12:00 PM IST, with afternoons overlapping Europe and evenings overlapping the US.
