This role focuses primarily on fiber optic networks, structured cabling, and IP-based network infrastructure while also supporting managed WiFi solutions and RF communication systems as business needs require.\nThe ideal candidate has strong experience with fiber optic installation, testing, splicing, and network infrastructure, along with a solid understanding of telecommunications construction and IP networking. Experience with managed WiFi platforms systems is preferred. The successful candidate is a motivated problem solver who enjoys learning new technologies and delivering high-quality solutions in both office and field environments.\nCandidate must be able to reliably commute to Grand Teton National Park or Yellowstone National Park within one hour May-November. Housing may be arranged.\nEssential Functions:\nFiber Optic & Network Infrastructure\nInstall, terminate, splice, test, maintain, and troubleshoot inside and outside plant fiber optic infrastructure.\nPerform fiber optic testing using OTDRs, power meters, fusion splicers, and other industry-standard equipment.\nInstall, terminate, certify, and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling systems.\nAnalyze and resolve fiber optic network performance issues.\nInstall, configure, provision, and support telecommunications and network infrastructure equipment.\nSupport Layer 1 and Layer 2 network connectivity and assist with IP-based communications infrastructure.\nPerform underground cable locating, cable replacement, and preventative maintenance.\nRead and interpret construction drawings, fiber routing documentation, splice diagrams, and network schematics.\nCoordinate construction activities with contractors, utilities, customers, and service providers.\nProject Management\nManage telecommunications infrastructure projects including:\nProject scheduling and coordination\nStakeholder communication\nResource planning\nMaterial procurement and logistics\nContractor oversight\nRFI and change order management\nAs-built documentation and red-line drawings\nSite documentation and reporting\nPermit, badge, and site access coordination\nEquipment inventory and infrastructure tracking\nManaged WiFi & Network Support (Preferred Experience)\nAssist with the installation, configuration, deployment, and support of managed WiFi solutions.\nConfigure and troubleshoot wireless access points, controllers, network switches, and related infrastructure.\nSupport wireless network optimization, coverage validation, and performance troubleshooting.\nAssist with VLAN configuration, PoE deployments, switching, routing, and IP-based network connectivity.\nAble to work Switches, Access points, fiber splicing, CAT6 terminations and firewalls.\nSupport enterprise network infrastructure and customer connectivity solutions.\nRequirements\nRequired skills and qualifications:\nAssociate degree, technical school certification, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience installing, terminating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic infrastructure.\nExperience with structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and inside/outside plant construction.\nExperience deploying, configuring, or supporting managed WiFi solutions, wireless access points, controllers, and enterprise wireless networks.\nWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switching, routing, VLANs, and PoE.\nBasic understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and IP-based communications.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).\nPreferred skills and qualifications:\nExperience supporting fiber optic, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or managed WiFi environments preferred.\nManaged WiFi & Enterprise Networking\nExperience deploying, configuring, and supporting managed WiFi environments.\nExperience with enterprise wireless access points, wireless controllers, and cloud-managed networking platforms.\nWorking knowledge of switching, routing, VLANs, PoE, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.\nExperience with networking platforms such as Cisco Meraki, Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Juniper Mist, Ubiquiti, Extreme Networks, or similar technologies.\nCisco CCNA or other networking certification.\nWork Environment/Physical Demands:\nAbility to climb ladders (over 6 feet) and work at various heights.\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel as required (approximately 50-75%);
