This role partners cross-functionally to resolve pricing and shipment discrepancies, investigate vendor account issues, and support month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building strong vendor relationships while identifying opportunities to improve processes.\nJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nInvoice and Payment Processing\nProcess invoices for a portfolio of vendors ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.\nExecute daily financial operations, including the verification, classification, and recording of transactions utilizing various system.\nResolve shipping quantity and pricing issues which is dependent on cross functional collaboration with buyers, supply chain, and vendor partners.\nContinuously review processes to identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements.\nReconciliation and Reporting\nSupport month-end closing activities by reconciling vendor AP ledger to ensure accurate and timely posting of invoices and payments.\nConduct thorough verification and investigation of vendor disputes and aged items. Ensure appropriate resolutions are implemented.\nConduct regular reviews of vendor account balances and prepare analysis of accounts as needed.\nVendor Relationship Management\nFoster and maintain proactive and constructive relationships with a large volume of vendors through effective communication and organization.\nActively address vendor concerns or provide feedback to ensure optimal partnership benefits.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n1-3 years of experience\nBachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance\nVIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAt DICK’S, we thrive on innovation and authenticity.
