This individual will translate evolving global privacy regulations into actionable product requirements, manage the privacy product roadmap, and drive the delivery of key initiatives that support compliance, customer trust, and business objectives. The role is instrumental in embedding privacy by design into products and processes while enabling scalable privacy solutions such as consent management, data inventory, retention controls, and automated data subject rights management. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, product management expertise, and a passion for creating privacy-centric experiences in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.\nJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrivacy Product Strategy & Roadmap\nDefine and own the privacy product roadmap, aligning priorities with global regulatory requirements and business initiatives (e.g., analytics, personalization, customer engagement).\n\nRegulatory Translation & Requirements Management\nTranslate privacy legal and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CPRA, PIPEDA, AU/NZ) into product requirements, user stories, and operational specifications.\n\nProduct Delivery & Initiative Management\nManage product backlog, prioritization, and delivery of privacy initiatives; track progress against timelines and ensure alignment with strategic goals.\n\nCross-Functional Partnership & Privacy by Design\nPartner with legal, product, and technology teams to embed privacy-by-design into the software development lifecycle and business workflows\n\nPrivacy Technology & Capability Enablement\nSupport the development and implementation of privacy tooling and capabilities (e.g., data mapping, inventory management, consent management, data subject rights automation, retention controls).\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degreein Business, Product Management, Information Management, Public Policy, Compliance\n\n1-3 years of experience\n\nExperience working with cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Compliance, Technology, Data)\n\nExperience in privacy, compliance, security, or regulated environments preferred\n\nExperience with consumer platforms, retail, or e-commerce a plus\n\nProduct Management certification preferred. (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum)\n\nPrivacy certifications a plus (e.g., CIPP, CIPT) but not required.\n\nExperience with product management and development tools (Jira, Aha!, Confluence, etc.).\n\nExperience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).\n\nFamiliarity with privacy and data governance tools (e.g., consent management platforms, data discovery tools, DSAR automation).\n\nUnderstanding of APIs, data flows, and modern data architectures.\n\nStrong product management, prioritization, and roadmap planning skills.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nAbility to translate complex legal requirements into clear operational solutions.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong understanding of privacy and data protection principles and regulations.\n\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities.\n\nVIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAt DICK’S, we thrive on innovation and authenticity.
