Currently, around 4,000 employees are working at CARIAD on the digital transformation of the car. CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

About our Group

CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Project Overview

We are looking for experienced Software Developers to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve a cloud-based Test Execution Platform supporting automated validation, simulation workloads, and large-scale recompute. The platform enables scalable, reliable, and maintainable cloud solutions for efficient execution of test campaigns and simulation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Python.

· Build and operate scalable solutions on Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure.

· Develop workflow orchestration for automated validation, simulation, and recompute workloads.

· Implement DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

· Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.

· Integrate simulation and data-processing workloads into cloud environments.

· Optimize platform reliability, scalability, performance, and monitoring.

· Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

· Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous platform improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

· Strong experience in Python-based cloud application development.

· Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes workflow orchestration.

· Good experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

· Experience designing and operating scalable cloud-native platforms.

· Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD implementation.

· Hands-on expertise in Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.

· Experience integrating simulation and recompute workloads into cloud environments.

· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams.

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow automation.

· Experience with large-scale test execution platforms.

· Exposure to distributed systems and high-performance data processing.
