You will design and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Robot Framework and Selenium, strengthen our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with developers to find and fix issues early. This role suits someone who enjoys digging into problems, understanding root causes, and making quality a built-in part of the development process.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites covering unit, integration, system, and regression testing.\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Selenium for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.\nBuild reusable keywords, libraries, and page objects to keep test suites maintainable and scalable.\nPerform smoke testing on new builds to verify that critical functionality works before deeper testing begins.\nPerform sanity testing after bug fixes or minor changes to confirm that the affected areas work as expected.\nCarry out integration testing to validate interactions between modules, services, and third-party components.\nConduct system testing to verify end-to-end functionality of the complete application against requirements.\nRun systematic regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality.\nBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines so smoke, regression, Robot Framework, and Selenium test suites run automatically on every change, with clear reporting.\nSet up and maintain static code analysis and other automated checks to enforce code quality standards.\nInvestigate failures and defects using logs, crash dumps, and debugging tools, and drive root-cause analysis to closure.\nReview pull requests, with a focus on testability, code quality, and test coverage.\nWork with developers, product, and release teams to define test strategies, test plans, and quality goals.\nTrack and report on test results, coverage, and quality metrics.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n2-5 years of experience in Verification and Validation, test automation, or a similar engineering role.\nExposure to QT/QML,Windows Desktop HMI Application.\nSolid understanding of testing types and levels, including smoke, sanity, unit, integration, system, and regression testing.\nHands-on experience writing automated unit, integration, and regression tests.\nHands-on experience with Robot Framework, including writing test cases, custom keywords, and Python-based libraries.\nExperience creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from requirements.\nStrong working knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and pull-request workflows.\nExperience with CI/CD tools (for example Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).\nExperience with static code analysis and code quality tools (for example SonarQube, Coverity, Pylint, ESLint, or similar).\nGood debugging and root-cause analysis skills, including working with logs and crash dumps.\nProficiency in Python, with knowledge of [Java / C++ / C#] as a plus.\nGood written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly document issues and communicate with distributed teams.\nExperience with other test frameworks such as pytest, JUnit, or GoogleTest\nNice to Have\nExperience with Selenium Grid or cloud testing platforms (for example BrowserStack or Sauce Labs) for parallel and cross-browser execution.\nFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and build systems.\nExposure to performance, stress, or reliability testing.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.\nWorking with Embitel\nFreedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow\nThere is no ‘I’ in word ‘Team’ and no hierarchy at Embitel\nEmployees of Embitel are partners of our excellence and growth.
