The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development activities, including schematic design, component selection, hardware validation, EMC compliance, and production support, while ensuring adherence to automotive quality and safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop automotive electronic hardware for Instrument Clusters, Digital Cockpits, and Display Systems.\nCreate hardware architecture, detailed schematics, and design documentation.\nPerform component selection considering automotive-grade requirements, cost, reliability, and lifecycle.\nDesign circuits involving: Microcontrollers/Processors (NXP, Renesas, TI, Infineon, etc.) Power supply and power management circuits CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay communication interfaces Display interfaces (TFT, LCD, OLED) Backlight control and LED drivers Memory devices and peripheral interfaces\nCollaborate with PCB layout teams to ensure signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.\nConduct hardware design reviews, DFMEA, and root cause analysis.\nPerform bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototypes.\nSupport EMC/EMI, ESD, Environmental, and Reliability testing.\nWork closely with software, mechanical, system, and validation teams throughout the product development lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with automotive standards and customer requirements.\nSupport manufacturing, production, and field issue investigations.\nRequired Technical Skills\nHardware DesignSchematic design and review.\nAnalog and digital circuit design.\nPower supply design (Buck, Boost, LDOs).\nSignal integrity and high-speed design fundamentals.\nComponent derating and reliability analysis.\nAutomotive ExpertiseExperience in Instrument Cluster ECU development.\nKnowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN/CAN FD LIN Automotive Ethernet\nExposure to vehicle electrical architecture.\nValidation & TestingOscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, CAN Analyzer usage.\nHardware debugging and failure analysis.\nEMC/EMI and Environmental testing support.\nDesign ToolsAltium Designer / Cadence Allegro / OrCAD.\nLTspice, PSpice or equivalent simulation tools.\nRequirements and change management tools (JIRA, DOORS, Polarion).\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\n5-6 years of experience in Automotive Hardware Design.\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Instrument Cluster hardware development.\nExperience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.\nPreferred Skills\nExposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262).\nKnowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).\nExperience with Digital Cockpit, Head-Up Display (HUD), or Infotainment systems.\nUnderstanding of Cybersecurity requirements in automotive electronics.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing and production support activities.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and debugging skills.\nAbility to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.\nSelf-driven with the ability to work in fast-paced automotive development environments.\nWorking with Embitel\nFreedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow\nThere is no ‘I’ in word ‘Team’ and no hierarchy at Embitel\nEmployees of Embitel are partners of our excellence and growth.
