Develop systems for improvement.\nCreate standard work documentation and support deployment / implementation.\nSupport, cost estimate, and document all engineering changes.\nStrong understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts, principles, practices, and implementation required.\nInitiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, processes, and/or systems.\nSupport new product launch, creating work cells, staffing models and manufacturing flow.\nPerforms other duties as assigned to support the organization.\nCharacteristic Duties:\n\nCompetencies:\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nProficient computer skills and ability to learn required systems that are utilized to be successful in this position, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks (Assembly & Motion Studies), Microsoft Project, Infor XA, AS400, and CNC Programming.\nAbility to write reports and business correspondence. \nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions.\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, multitasking abilities, and the ability to communicate written and orally.\nStrong mathematics skills. \nAbility to calculate figures and understand technical complex concepts\nAbility to identify and describe practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists..\nSupervisory Responsibility: N/A\nWork Environment:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
