Software Support & System Maintenance\nProvide continuous operational maintenance of all deployed M&C software packages across ground stations.\n\nHandle end-to-end M&C software operations, system troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis (RCA).\n\nPerform routine preventive maintenance, regression testing, environment configuration, and log audits.\n\nManage version control, configuration baselines, and deployment tracking.\n\n2. Station Configuration & Mission Testing\nConfigure, integrate, and test M&C software suites for newly commissioned ground stations.\n\nActively support Testing and Evaluation (T&E) activities for new space missions, antennas, and ground stations.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional activities with ground station operators and mission managers.\n\n3. Network, Infrastructure & Upgrades\nManage local network setups, hardware interfaces, and ground equipment configuration.\n\nExecute system hardening, security patches, OS updates, and vulnerability remediations.\n\nCarry out system upgrades, hardware migrations in accordance with ISTRAC standards, and redeploy M&C software packages smoothly\n\nKey Personal Attributes:\nHigh degree of accountability and ability to work in high-reliability, zero-downtime environments.\n\nStrong diagnostic and analytical skills for real-time problem resolution.\n\nClear, disciplined verbal and written technical communication skills.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation: B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.\n\nExperience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development, maintenance, and production support.\n\nGood to Have:\nPython scripting experience.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes or Nomad.\n\nKnowledge of networking concepts and cloud-native technologies.\n\nWorking Conditions & Operational Terms:\nWorking Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.\n\nOff Days & Holidays: Sundays off; observed national holidays are limited to Independence Day, Republic Day, and Gandhi Jayanti.\n\nFlexibility: Must be willing to work extended hours or on holidays when testing, launch windows, or mission activities demand (with prior authorization).\n\nLocal Travel: Must be open to visiting other operational centers (such as IDSN / MOX campuses in and around Bengaluru) for on-site testing.\n\nCommute / Logistics: Candidates must make their own daily travel and local logistical arrangements.\n\nLeave Policy: 1 day of paid leave permitted per month (non-accumulative/cannot be carried forward to subsequent months).\n\nContinuity Clause: Strict commitment to role continuity; a minimum notice period of 3 months applies prior to any transition/replacement.
