Working with our client delivery and project management teams, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and project teams to produce documentation that is technically accurate, clear, and aligned with client and program requirements. This is a delivery-focused role, not a sales or proposal-writing one.\nSkills & Qualification\nBachelor's/master’s degree in engineering or related field.\n\n2-3+ years of experience in technical writing, project documentation, or programmatic/government documentation (experience with defence, aerospace, space-tech, or deep-tech industries strongly preferred).\n\nDemonstrated experience producing project or technical documentation- design documents, reports, manuals, or SOPs, ideally in an engineering or program-delivery environment.\n\nExcellent command of written English- precision, clarity, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.\n\nAbility to work directly with engineers and SMEs to extract and structure technical information.\n\nStrong project management skills; ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables and deadlines simultaneously.\n\nProficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Word); familiarity with documentation/collaboration tools (Confluence, Notion, SharePoint) and basic layout/design tools.\n\nHigh attention to detail, especially around technical/factual accuracy and formatting consistency.\n\nGood to Have\nPrior experience writing for space, satellite, defence, or government-facing organizations.\n\nFamiliarity with project management artifacts and processes (design reviews, PERT/Gantt charts, delivery and handover workflows).\n\nBasic understanding of contracts, procurement processes, or compliance/legal language in government tenders.\n\nExperience working with engineering/SME teams to extract and simplify technical information.\n\nResponsibilities\nIndependently write, structure, and finalize project documentation- Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) documents, project reports, PERT charts, delivery/dispatch documentation, and handover documentation.\n\nOwn end-to-end creation and maintenance of product manuals, technical specifications, user guides, and process documentation (SOPs) for Digantara's platforms and products.\n\nEngage directly with engineers and project teams to understand project status, product functionality, technical design, and client requirements, and translate these into clear, non-ambiguous documentation for varied audiences-technical reviewers, project stakeholders, and clients.\n\nEnsure documentation aligns with client, program, and (where applicable) government/defence formatting and delivery standards across the project lifecycle.\n\nDevelop and maintain reusable content- templates, boilerplate language, and a centralized project documentation library.\n\nCoordinate documentation timelines across departments (engineering, product, project management, leadership) to meet project milestones and delivery deadlines.\n\nEdit and standardize technical writing across projects for tone, consistency, and quality.\n\nSupport graphic/layout coordination with design teams for diagrams, charts, and document formatting.\n\nMentor and review the work of interns/junior writers on the
