Your work will directly contribute to improved fraud detection rates, reduced financial losses, lower false positive rates, enhanced regulatory compliance and improved operational efficiency. Through continuous monitoring, testing and optimization, you will ensure our financial crime controls evolve alongside emerging criminal behaviours and business needs.\nYour drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.\nWhat you’ll do\nManage and maintain transaction monitoring and screening systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.\n\nDesign, configure, test and optimize financial crime detection rules and workflows to improve risk identification and operational efficiency.\n\nWork closely with Financial Crime Operations teams to understand risks and operational needs.\n\nTranslate business, risk and compliance requirements into effective system controls.\n\nAnalyse alerts, cases and performance metrics to improve detection outcomes.\n\nReduce false positives while maintaining effective risk coverage.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Compliance, Engineering, Data Engineering and Data Science teams.\n\nSupport the delivery of new controls, features and regulatory requirements.\n\nDefine business requirements, test scenarios and acceptance criteria.\n\nPerform rule tuning and validate control effectiveness.\n\nMaintain rule documentation, process guides and knowledge articles.\n\nSupport audits, investigations and governance activities when required.\n\nMonitor emerging fraud and financial crime trends.\n\nRecommend enhancements to strengthen the financial crime control framework.\n\nUse data and operational insights to drive continuous improvement.\n\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. You may be required to complete other reasonable duties in order to achieve business objectives.\nWhat you'll bring\nYou’re someone who brings:\nClear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas\n\nA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross-functional teams to hit shared goals\n\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball\n\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work\n\nAdaptability - you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments\n\nBachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\n\n2 - 3 years' experience\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nAdvanced SQL\n\nMicrosoft Excel\n\nPower BI, Tableau, or equivalent data visualization tools\n\nFinancial crime rules engines\n\nUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)\n\nKPI reporting and requirements documentation\n\nUnderstanding of APIs\n\nElastic or Coralogix\n\nJira and Confluence\n\nFraud prevention and AML monitoring\n\nKYC processes and payment processing\n\nRisk scoring methodologies\n\nBehavioural analytics\n\nFinancial crime typologies\n\nRegulatory knowledge relevant to iGaming and financial crime\n\nDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:\nExperience with Agile methodologies\n\nFamiliarity with transaction monitoring and screening tools or other enterprise SaaS platforms\n\nProduct background or experience\n\nPrevious experience in online gaming or casino industry\n\nKnowledge of gambling regulations and compliance requirements\n\nOur values are non-negotiables\nOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
