This will help us excel at ensuring stability and delivering seamless customer experiences.\nWhat you’ll do\nYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:\nUtilising monitoring tools to interpret alerts and system dashboards\nUsing platforms such as Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog, or Grafana to identify anomalies and performance issues.\nInterpreting alerts to determine severity, potential impact, and required response actions.\nApplying foundational networking knowledge to troubleshoot issues\nUnderstanding core concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, Server Basics, Cloud Concepts.\nUsing knowledge of distributed system architecture to recognise common failure patterns.\nManaging incidents through ticketing and ITIL-aligned processes\nWorking with systems such as JIRA to log, triage, and update incidents.\nFollowing ITIL principles to ensure structured incident prioritisation, escalation, and resolution.\nPerforming initial technical diagnosis on system and application components\nAssessing server health, including CPU, memory, and disk utilisation.\nInvestigating application performance problems and basic database connectivity issues to determine root cause direction.\nThis list covers your core responsibilities - with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’re someone who brings:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively\nExperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work\nAdaptability - you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments\nIT certification in either CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, or Cisco CCNA\n1-2 years’ experience in the Operations space focussing on Monitoring and Incident Management\n1-2 years hands-on experience using at least one major monitoring platform (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog, Grafana, Zabbix)\n1-2 years’ experience using Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice, or another enterprise ITSM tool\nPractical exposure to ITIL Incident Management, demonstrated either by ITIL v4 Foundation certification, or documented participation in a structured incident-response workflow in a previous role\n1-2 years’ experience collaborating with engineering, support, or platform teams in a 24/7 operational or incident-driven environment\nPrior experience in environments with rapid changes, live-system dependencies, or peak-traffic events (e.g., sports, e-commerce, gaming,x streaming, financial trading)\nDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:\nA relevant Information Technology tertiary qualification.\nKnowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends.\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.\nFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards.\nExperience with real-time systems or high-traffic platforms, ensuring performance and stability during peak betting or gaming events.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.\nExperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals\nOur values are non-negotiables\nOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
