Business Development Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Associate. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, conducting client visits, and supporting revenue growth.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be self-driven and comfortable working in a field-oriented business development role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels.
• Prospect potential clients and build a strong pipeline of business leads.
• Conduct client meetings and regular field visits to understand requirements and present solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Handle business discussions, negotiations, follow-ups, and closure of deals.
• Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for clients.
• Prepare regular reports on lead generation, meetings, pipeline, and business development activities.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, B2B Sales, Field Sales, or a related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented approach.
• Street-smart with the ability to identify opportunities and handle real-world client situations effectively.
• Comfortable with field visits and meeting clients in person.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Own vehicle is mandatory for client visits.
• Candidates with exposure to F&B, FMCG, Hospitality, Retail, or related industries will be preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
