This role leads ETL design and development, database engineering, data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance practices across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nCollaborate with Solution Architect and BAs to design, evaluate, and deliver high-quality end-to-end data solutions for client engagements.\nEngage non-technical subject matter experts to understand and explain data behavior, patterns, and characteristics in an accessible way.\nWork cross-functionally to resolve data and process issues, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.\nUse standard data modeling, data flow, and documentation tools to analyze, document, and present data analysis outputs.\nPlan and develop ETL and data preparation/aggregation processes from multiple sources into MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases.\nMaintain and optimize ETL pipelines to meet evolving requirements and changing upstream/downstream dependencies.\nParticipate in MS SQL code reviews and guide SQL and ETL best practices.\nReview and validate database schema changes to ensure alignment with data architecture and downstream impacts.\nDevelop and optimize T-SQL components (stored procedures, functions, inline SQL) and work confidently with database structures.\nAnalyze existing SQL queries and ETL jobs for performance improvements and scalability.\nMonitor code migration and database change management across development lifecycle stages (dev/test/uat/prod).\nDesign and develop procedures/scripts for data migration and cutover activities.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain database policies, procedures, and architecture documentation to ensure data security, integrity, and compliance.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n5–8 years of hands-on T-SQL programming experience.\n2–3 years of Informatica development experience.\nExperience migrating Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).\nStrong experience in performance tuning across sources, mappings, targets, and sessions.\nSolid understanding of Data Architecture and Data Modeling concepts.\nWorking experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.\nFamiliarity with Git source control.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and/or deployment automation tools.\nPreferred / Advantageous Experience\nDelivered ETL and/or data modeling projects for enterprise clients with sizeable scope (e.g., multi-year delivery or large-budget programmes).\nDemonstrated interest in modern ETL/data processing solutions (e.g., Apache Flink) and continuous learning in data engineering.\nStrong AWS experience, including managed services such as:Amazon RDSETL services/toolsStream processing solutions\nBroad AWS cloud delivery experience in
