Our unique model enables us to deploy our resources to build over the long term.\nWhat is the Role? \nThe Accounting Associate is responsible forsupporting core accounting operations and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity organization. This role plays a key partin maintainingstrong internal controls, supporting key components of the close process, and partnering cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and financial clarity across the organization. \nReporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Accounting Associate supports significant general ledger activities, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and close deliverables. The Associate will receive day-to-day training and guidance from the Accounting Manager, who will closely review the Associate’s work, particularly as the Associate develops proficiencyin the role. The role also supports audit readiness, process documentation, and the continued improvement of accounting processes and systems. \nWhat You'll Be Responsible For: \nSupport day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and other assigned accounting areas \nSupport the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timelyand accuratefinancial reporting, including coordination of assigned close activities, preparation of supporting schedules, and resolution of outstanding items \nReview and analyze balance-sheet and income-statement accounts, identifyingperiod-over-period variances, unusual activity, reconciliation differences, and areas requiring investigation or corrective action \nPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy, completeness, appropriate classification, and adequate documentation, subject to review by the Accounting Manager \nSupport intercompany and intracompany accounting, including charge-downs, due-to and due-from balances, settlements, and the timelyresolution of differences across entities \nCoordinate with subsidiary finance teams to support consistent accounting, close timing, intercompany activity, and delivery of required financial information \nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures, escalating complexor judgmental matters as appropriate \nSupport internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit readiness \nSupport external audits by preparing schedules, responding to information requests, resolving questions, and maintainingcomplete and audit-ready documentation \nCollaborate cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal and other teams to support business initiatives and improve financial processes \nSupport efforts to streamline and optimizeaccounting workflows, systems, and reporting accuracy \nSupport the integrity of accounting master data, including general ledger accounts, departments, classes, entities, and financial reporting mappings \nAssistwith budgeting and forecasting processes as needed \nServe as a key resource for accounting guidance and problem-solving across the organization \nManage assigned priorities and deadlines, incorporate review feedback, and communicate questions or issues promptly \nWhat You'll Bring: \n3-5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong foundationin general accounting and financial reporting, including experience within a complex, multi-entity organization \nBachelor’s degree in Accountingor a related field required; CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification preferred \nBig Four or other large public accounting firm experience is a plus \nSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls, general ledger accounting, intercompany activity, and account reconciliations \nExperience supporting key components of the close process in a fast-paced environment \nExperience supporting consolidatedfinancial reporting and working with multiple legal entities or subsidiaries \nExperience supporting external audits and preparing complete, well-organized, and audit-ready documentation \nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail \nProactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identifyand support process improvements \nExcellent organizational and communication skills \nExperience working with accounting systems and ERP platforms, NetSuite and Concur preferred \nWhat We Offer: \nInspiring colleagues and an invigorating start-up environment \nCompetitive base salary, bonus and incentive compensation \nCompany paid health insurance for employee, partner and dependents \nLife insurance, short-term & long-term disability coverage \n401K plan with company match \nPre-tax transit and parking program and flexible spending programs for medical and dependent care \nUnlimited PTO / Flexible time off \nPaid parental leave \nNew water-front office with world-class perks and amenities \nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
