They will lead cloud architecture initiatives, drive operational excellence, and serve as a technical subject matter expert for cloud adoption, modernization, and optimization efforts.\nWhat you’ll do\nCloud Engineering\nDesign, implement, and maintain multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP\nDevelop cloud landing zones aligned with security, governance, and compliance standards\nSupport hybrid and multi-region deployments for enterprise workloads\nEvaluate and recommend cloud-native services and architectural patterns\nAutomation & Infrastructure as Code\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as: Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation\n\nAutomate cloud provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management\nStandardize repeatable deployment patterns and templates\nSecurity, Governance & Compliance\nImplement cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, encryption, logging)\nEnforce governance using: Azure Policy, AWS Organizations / SCPs, GCP Org Policies, OCI policies\n\nPartner with security teams on audits, controls, and regulatory compliance\nSupport vulnerability remediation and security posture management\nOperations & Reliability\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments\nDesign for high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency\nSupport incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement\nOptimize performance and cloud costs (FinOps practices)\nCollaboration & Leadership\nAct as a technical lead for complex cloud initiatives\nMentor junior engineers and review designs and code\nCollaborate with application, networking, IAM, and security teams\nProvide clear technical guidance to both engineers and stakeholders\nWhat you’ll need\nCore Requirements\n7+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering \nHands-on experience with AWS and Azure (required)\nWorking knowledge of OCI and GCP in production environments\nStrong understanding of: Networking (VPC/VNet design, routing, DNS, firewalls)\nIdentity & Access Management (IAM, RBAC, federated identity)\n\nExperience with Linux and/or Windows server workloads\nAutomation & Tooling\nStrong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred)\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (native or third-party)\nEnterprise Experience\nExperience operating cloud platforms at scale\nUnderstanding of compliance, governance, and security controls\nAbility to work in regulated or audit-driven environments\nPreferred Qualifications\nCloud certifications (one or more): AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) \nMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect\nGoogle Cloud Professional certifications\nOCI Architect certifications\n\nExperience with: Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE)\nHybrid connectivity, ExpressRoute / Direct Connect / VPN\nDefender, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)\n\nPrior experience in global or multi-region environments\nA bit about us\nDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
