Operations

Our Operations team keeps our customers’ infrastructure running safely and securely. We get plenty of opportunities to take on a variety of tasks and develop our technical skills. From overseeing electrical power to cooling and fire suppression systems, our team plays a vital role in making sure everything in our data centers operates as it should.

The Role provides strategic leadership for all Data Center locations within a designated market or country. This role ensures seamless service delivery in line with SLAs, regulatory standards, and organizational goals, while driving operational standardization and innovation. The position manages workforce planning, financial performance, and acts as a key escalation point during incidents, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, CTO, DE&C, Finance, and HR. The role is also responsible for customer relationship management, talent development, and direct oversight of significant CAPEX and OPEX budgets, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and supporting organizational change.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions.Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the company's overall goals and values.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation range: $275,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.

The role is accountable for the continuous and compliant operation of all Data Center sites within their market, ensuring that services meet or exceed SLAs and regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing workforce management, driving process optimization, and fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with broader business objectives and to act as the primary escalation point during critical incidents. Additionally, the position manages customer relationships, supports talent development, and is directly responsible for large-scale CAPEX and OPEX budgets. The role must ensure financial targets are met, compliance is maintained, and organizational change initiatives are effectively implemented. A strong focus on customer satisfaction, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement is essential for success in this role.

- Master's degree (MBA preferred but not required)

- At least 15-20 Years experience in similar operational leadership roles within multinational organizations

- Deep technical knowledge of data center operations, critical infrastructure, capacity planning, and security

- Demonstrated success in leading and developing large cross-functional teams

- Proven track record in financial performance management and process optimization

- Experience handling OPEX and CAPEX budgets and financial reporting

- Excellent management and leadership experience across multiple hierarchical layers

- Business fluency in English and relevant local language

- Ability to travel globally as required

- Strong project management skills
