This role is responsible for designing and executing rigorous testing strategies across cloud, data, and application layers guaranteeing flawless, secure, and scalable performance for critical industrial operations.\nYou will build confidence in every release by developing and maintaining automated and manual testing frameworks that validate functionality, performance, and resilience at enterprise scale.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Assurance and Testing Strategy\nDesign and implement comprehensive testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based systems.\nDevelop and maintain test plans, cases, and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.\nExecute manual and automated testing across unit, integration, system, and acceptance levels.\nPerform regression, smoke, and sanity testing before releases.\nApply risk-based testing approaches to optimise coverage and efficiency.\n\nSecurity Testing and Validation\nConduct thorough security testing, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.\nImplement automated security testing to support continuous validation.\nExecute OWASP Top 10 vulnerability testing and remediation verification.\nValidate authentication, authorisation, and encryption mechanisms.\nConduct compliance testing for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other standards.\nCollaborate with security teams to ensure best-practice implementation and track vulnerabilities to resolution.\n\nAzure Cloud Testing\nDesign and execute test strategies for Azure-hosted applications and services.\nValidate Azure components including Functions, App Services, and SQL Databases.\nTest Azure Active Directory integration and role-based access controls.\nPerform load and performance testing using Azure Load Testing and Application Insights.\nTest disaster recovery and backup processes within Azure environments.\nVerify Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and ensure correct configuration of monitoring and alerting systems.\n\nTest Automation and Framework Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.\nBuild automated test suites for functional, integration, and API testing.\nImplement automated security scanning and validation scripts.\nIntegrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.\nOptimise test execution time and reliability through parallel execution and efficient resource usage.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with developers to understand implementations and provide early feedback.\nCollaborate with product managers to align test coverage with business requirements.\nPartner with designers to validate UI consistency and user experience.\nTranslate technical testing insights into clear, business-relevant updates for stakeholders.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.\nLead bug triage meetings, prioritise issues, and maintain transparent quality metrics.\nDocumentation and Reporting\nMaintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, reports, and test cases.\nCreate detailed bug reports with reproducible steps and impact analysis.\nMaintain automation framework documentation and user guides.\nDevelop dashboards and metrics to track quality, performance, and test coverage.\nKeep testing best practices and configuration procedures up to date.\nMaintain traceability matrices linking requirements to test cases.\n\nCommunication and Leadership\nPresent testing strategies, metrics, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCommunicate quality risks clearly and proactively.\nLead quality initiatives, mentor junior testers, and foster collaboration across engineering teams.\nProvide consistent updates on testing progress and blockers.\nRequired Qualifications\n\nEducation and Experience\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum of five years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.\nProven track record testing enterprise-level applications and cloud-based solutions.\nDemonstrated experience in security testing and vulnerability assessment.\nTechnical Skills\nHands-on experience testing applications in Azure environments.\nDeep knowledge of Azure tools such as Azure Test Plans, Azure Load Testing, and Application Insights.\nProficiency with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman).\nStrong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for automation scripting.\nExperience with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SonarQube for security testing.\nFamiliarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, K6).\nProficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).\nEssential Competencies\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage all stakeholder levels.\nStrong understanding of application security principles and testing methodologies.\nAbility to work effectively across functions with developers, product managers, and strategies.\nWillingness to travel for client implementations and on-site support. \nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certifications such as ISTQB, ISEB, RHCE, CCNA, PMP, or equivalent are
