Business Development Associate

This role supports the sales and client servicing process end to end by owning the preparation, outreach, and coordination work that surrounds client meetings, without taking ownership of the meetings, negotiation, or closing themselves. It also acts as the day to day coordination point for clients once they are onboarded.

• Research and identify potential clients/leads across target industries; maintain an organized, up to date prospect list
• Conduct outbound outreach (calls, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp) to introduce Digital Symphony's services and arrange meetings for management
• Utilize outreach and productivity tools provided by the Company to support prospecting efficiency
• Assist in preparing client facing materials and documentation following client meetings, incorporating direction from the meeting lead
• Keep pitch decks, case studies, and other marketing collateral current and ready for use in outreach and proposals
• Support the onboarding process for newly signed clients, including coordination of introductory communications, kick off meetings, and required materials
• Conduct periodic check ins with existing clients to maintain alignment and surface concerns early
• Administer periodic client satisfaction surveys and compile results for internal review
• Provide ad hoc support on billing follow ups as required from time to time, in coordination with Finance (Finance retains primary ownership of billing and collections)
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, proposal status, and client interactions in the CRM/tracker

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in sales support, business development, account coordination, or client servicing (agency experience a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with outbound calling as a primary daily activity
• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to manage multiple prospects, clients, and trackers simultaneously
• Proficient with CRM tools, outreach/productivity platforms, and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
• Proactive and able to work independently on assigned tasks while flagging issues to management promptly
• Familiarity with the Malaysian property or performance marketing landscape is a plus, not required
