The role involves developing enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot, building scalable microservices and REST APIs, and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with application development, cloud services, CI/CD, databases, production support, and distributed systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.\nBuild scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.\nDevelop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.\nWork on system integration, application performance tuning, and production support.\nContribute to architecture discussions and participate in technical design reviews.\nSet up and manage CI/CD pipelines while automating application build, testing, and deployment workflows.\nCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.\nFollow application security practices, coding standards, and established engineering guidelines.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application issues across production and lower environments.\nMentor junior developers and contribute to technical improvements within the team.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\n\n4–10 years of professional software development experience.\nStrong experience with Java 8, 11, and/or 17.\nHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.\nStrong understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture.\nHands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nGood understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.\nExperience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.\nFamiliarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.\nStrong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nStrong debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nAWS certification is an advantage.\nPractical knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud infrastructure.\nExposure to React or Angular.\nKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.\nExperience collaborating with globally distributed delivery teams and working directly with clients.\n\nAI Experience\n\nAI experience is not mandatory for this role. The source requirements focus on Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, cloud-native development, databases, CI/CD, and distributed systems.\n\nManagerial Experience\n\nFormal people-management experience is not mandatory.
