The role involves diagnosing application issues, identifying root causes, evaluating solution alternatives, supporting deployments, and working with consulting and technical teams across different stages of a project.\n\nThe ideal candidate should have strong Java and production support experience, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues, understand business requirements, contribute to solution design, and support high-quality delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide production support for Java-based applications and enterprise systems.\nParticipate in different phases of projects, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.\nInvestigate application and production issues and identify their root causes.\nEvaluate alternative solutions using available technical research, vendor information, and other relevant resources.\nBuild proofs of concept (POCs) where required to validate potential solutions.\nTranslate business needs into requirement specifications and support definition of to-be processes.\nPrepare or contribute to detailed functional and technical designs based on requirements.\nSupport configuration of solution requirements on relevant products and platforms.\nAnalyze issues, seek clarification where necessary, and identify and shortlist appropriate solution alternatives.\nContribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives focused on improving solution quality and customer value.\nWork collaboratively with consulting, technical, and client-facing teams to support successful project delivery.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\n\nStrong experience in Java development and application support.\nHands-on experience in Java Production Support.\nExperience providing Java Application Support in enterprise environments.\nExperience with L1/L2 production support activities.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-diagnosis skills.\nAbility to perform root-cause analysis and identify suitable resolution approaches.\nUnderstanding of application deployment and production support processes.\nWorking knowledge of Spring Boot is preferred.\nAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical or functional solutions.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience supporting Java and Spring Boot applications.\nExperience in L1 and L2 application support environments.\nExposure to enterprise IT services and consulting projects.\nExperience participating in solution evaluation and proof-of-concept activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nGood communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAI Experience\n\nAI experience is not specified as a requirement in the source job description and is therefore not mandatory for this role.\n\nManagerial Experience\n\nThis is primarily a technical production-support role.
