If you enjoy working with technology, precision equipment, and seeing the direct results of your work, this could be the opportunity for you.\nOpportunity Snapshot\nUnder the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor and department leadership, the CNC Operator 1 is responsible for operating CNC equipment to cut, process, and prepare materials used in the production of custom commercial fixtures and interiors.\nThis role supports production schedules by ensuring materials are accurately cut, inspected, labeled, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer expectations.\nWhat You'll Do\nSet up and operate CNC equipment according to programmed specifications\nCut wood, laminate, plastic, and solid surface materials for customer projects\nInspect finished components to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications\nMake basic machine adjustments and offset changes to maintain quality standards\nLabel, organize, and palletize completed parts for downstream production processes\nAccurately record material usage and complete production transactions\nRead and utilize tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring tools\nMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area\nFollow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes\nSupport team goals and production schedules through reliable attendance and performance\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nPrevious CNC, manufacturing, woodworking, machine operation, or related experience preferred\nAbility to read and use measuring devices including tape measures and micrometers\nBasic math skills and attention to detail\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn CNC equipment operation\nAbility to identify and work with a variety of production materials\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environment\nStrong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement\nDependable attendance and positive work ethic\nPhysical & Work Environment Expectations\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling\nRegular lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance\nManufacturing environment with machinery, production equipment, and elevated noise levels\nRequired use of safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, and other PPE\nRequires visual attention to detail and precision measurement\nPay & Benefits\nThis role offers an hourly pay range of $18.00-$26.00, based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
