The candidate for this position will report directly to the Senior Program Manager and act on his behalf as his Deputy in all Program Management functions to include: financial management, subcontractor management, schedule management, customer interface and internal team leadership.\nEssential Functions\nAssist mission partners and customers to assess their needs, provide information, resolve problems, and satisfy their requirements.\nPerform monthly status briefings.\nLead a team to ensure program execution, including subcontractors\nBe responsible for tracking and maintaining cost, schedule, and technical performance\nCoordinate staffing, schedules, risks and opportunities, process improvement initiatives, and common execution metrics.\nLead follow on proposal efforts\nSpecific Skills\nDoD Contract Experience\nStrong Financial Acumen\nProposal Experience\nStrong Communication and Presentation Skills.\nFull Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams.\nPreferred Skills\nNAWCTSD Customer Experience\nEarn Value Management Experience\nDoD Modeling Simulation and Training Background\nWork Location\nHybrid (In office and remote) - Orlando, FL Preferred\nor\nRemote with ability to travel\nRequired Education and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in project management, business management or other related degrees.\nPreferred PMP or DAWIA Advance certification\nMust have at least 5-10 years of experience in project and resource management.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nAbility to obtain a Secret Clearance\nMust be a US Citizen\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for their job.
