client systems.\nIdeal Profile\nBackup & Recovery Expertise\nHands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup monitoring, file-level recovery, repository management, and capacity checks.\n\nPractical knowledge of Azure Backup, Recovery Services vaults, and file recovery from restore points.\n\nExperience reviewing backup histories, identifying failures, validating backup integrity, and performing test restores.\n\nFamiliarity with Datto BCDR and SaaS Protection platforms.\n\nRemote Monitoring & Patch Management\nProven experience using Datto RMM for endpoint monitoring, patch deployment, compliance verification, and remediation.\n\nAbility to investigate failed Windows updates, troubleshoot patching issues, and verify successful remediation.\n\nUnderstanding of Windows Server and workstation administration, including troubleshooting system updates and reboot-related issues.\n\nBasic PowerShell scripting knowledge would be advantageous.\n\nOperational & Documentation Skills\nExperience working within an MSP or structured IT operations environment.\n\nStrong understanding of ticketing systems, technical documentation, and checklist-driven processes.\n\nAbility to maintain accurate records, capture supporting screenshots, and document remediation outcomes.\n\nClear written English communication skills with the solutions.\n\nReview backup job histories, investigate warning indicators, and identify failed or incomplete backup operations.\n\nMonitor backup repository capacity, recovery points, and offsite storage availability.\n\nConduct file-level test restores from local and offsite backups to verify recoverability.\n\nPerform Azure Backup recovery tests using available recovery points, ensuring temporary recovery resources are appropriately removed afterward.\n\nReview backup configurations to confirm required servers, resources, and workloads remain protected.\n\nCarry out backup solution reviews and maintain accurate backup documentation.\n\nMonitor Datto BCDR and SaaS Protection consoles, recording and escalating identified issues.\n\nComplete additional backup verification activities, including chain integrity checks, where required by documented procedures.\n\nPatch Remediation & Endpoint Management\nReview automated patch compliance tickets generated through Datto RMM.\n\nInvestigate patching failures and confirm reported issues on the affected devices.\n\nPerform approved remediation activities, including restarting patch jobs, resolving failed updates, and coordinating authorized reboots.\n\nValidate successful patch installation and device compliance through Datto RMM.\n\nCapture supporting evidence, including update status screenshots, and attach it to the relevant tickets.\n\nDocument remediation steps, outcomes, and unresolved issues.\n\nEscalate recurring patch failures, unresponsive devices, or incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting.\n\nOperational Monitoring & Maintenance\nPerform recurring infrastructure health checks and first-line operational tasks using established monitoring and management tools.\n\nFollow documented checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.\n\nIdentify operational risks, abnormalities, and infrastructure issues requiring further investigation.\n\nSupport the introduction of additional routine monitoring and maintenance tasks as operational requirements evolve.\n\nCarry out approved troubleshooting activities within defined technical and security boundaries.\n\nIncident Escalation & Ticket Management\nEscalate failed backup restores, missing recovery points, inaccessible backup repositories, and persistent backup failures.\n\nIdentify and report recurring patch installation failures and systems that remain offline or unresponsive after updates.\n\nCreate detailed escalation tickets containing relevant error messages, screenshots, troubleshooting history, and verification results.\n\nMaintain accurate ticket records, including actions performed, affected devices, and clear pass/fail outcomes.\n\nEnsure technical documentation is updated and operational tasks are appropriately recorded and closed.\n\nCollaborate with internal technical teams to facilitate efficient incident resolution.\n\nOptional -
