You'll work across the full stack - designing robust backend APIs, and contributing to a polished Angular frontend - while collaborating closely with product, design, and fellow engineers.\nThis is a high-ownership role. You'll be involved in architectural decisions, code reviews, and shaping engineering standards, not just executing tickets.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript\nDevelop and maintain frontend features in Angular, working closely with designers to deliver clean, performant UIs\nContribute to API design, ensuring consistency, security, and maintainability\nDesign database schemas, write migrations, and optimize query performance across PostgreSQL and SQL Server\nParticipate in system design discussions and help define technical direction for new features\nWrite well-tested, reviewable code and actively participate in code reviews\nDiagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack\nImplement security best practices - JWT auth, rate limiting, input validation, prompt shielding\nOwn production reliability - PM2 process management, graceful shutdown, health checks, structured logging\nCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA, and other engineers in an agile environment\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience\nStrong proficiency in Node.js with a solid understanding of the async/event-driven model\nProduction experience with Express.js - middleware chains, request lifecycle, error handling\nFluency in TypeScript - you default to it, not tolerate it\nHands-on experience building and maintaining Angular applications (v12+)\nSolid understanding of REST API design principles\nFamiliarity with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)\nExperience with version control workflows (Git, PR-based development)\nThis role is heavily focused on backend architecture. You won't just be writing Node.js endpoints; you will be making critical database decisions.
