and operate distributed, event-driven systems using services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3 and EventBridge.\nShape and implement AI-enabled solutions, embedding governance, observability, and responsible AI practices into the platform.\nOwn Infrastructure as Code (e. g., Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation) to reliably provision and manage cloud infrastructure.\nMentor senior engineers, influence technical decisions across teams, and clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.\n\nRequirements: \nExtensive experience 13+ building secure, production-grade software systems.\nProven track record architecting and delivering cloud-native, serverless applications on AWS.\nStrong expertise in backend development using Python, Go, or Java.\nExperience designing and developing scalable, distributed systems.\nStrong system design, architecture, and technical decision-making skills.\nExperience working across multiple projects and solving complex engineering challenges.\nThe ability to drive technical direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers.\nDeep understanding of distributed systems and data stores.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation), plus Docker and modern CI/CD.\nStrong SQL skills, including performance tuning and optimisation at scale.\nSolid understanding of AI fundamentals (model behaviour, prompt engineering, AI safety/governance) and experience building or integrating AI-powered systems with monitoring and compliance in
