Because we are an employee-owned firm, your voice will be an essential part of our shared success.\nResponsibilities\nWhat your day will look like\nPrimary\nAdminister and maintain on-premises networking systems across the entire company\nAdminister and maintain cloud networking systems (Azure)\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues\nSecondary\nAdminister and maintain local physical infrastructure\nAdminister and maintain local and cloud based virtual infrastructure\nParticipate in infrastructure related projects\nManage cloud storage environments\nTertiary\nMonitor environment for stability and security alerts and react as they arise\nCreate and maintain appropriate infrastructure standards, diagrams, and procedures\nShare accountability for after hours activities as needs arise\nLearning and Development\nCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development\nContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees\nQualifications\nWhat you will need to succeed\n5+ years experience configuring and managing layer 3 switches (must have)\n5+ years experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls (must have)\n5+ years of experience in designing, supporting, and maintaining in large and complex IT environments (must have)\nIn-depth understanding and experience of Information Technology standards and best practices\nPost-secondary degree in information technology or an IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience\nExperience\nDemonstrated experience with: \nPalo Alto Firewalls\nAruba/Cisco switches\nNetwork design and implementation (LAN/WAN)\nMeraki wireless\nActive Directory/Group Policy\nVMWare vSphere/VCentre\nGoogle Workspace Administration\nMicrosoft 365 Administration\nVeeam or other backup and restore technologies\nWindows Server\nLinux Server\nCisco DUO\nData centre management\nCloud based infrastructure management including AWS, Azure, and Google\nAbility to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and multiple priorities\nStrong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nDesire to learn and explore new technologies\nExperience with any of the following are considered distinct assets:\nCCNA certification\nITIL certification\nNetwork, security or infrastructure certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, etc.\nCompensation:\n$80,000 - $95,000\nDillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
