Because we are an employee-owned firm, your voice will be an essential part of our shared success.\nResponsibilities\nAbout the Position\nProject Coordination and Technical Assessments\nSupport with air dispersion modelling and Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling (ESDM) reports\nAssist with acoustics, noise, and vibration modelling and technical assessments\nContribute to air quality and acoustic impact assessments as part of federal, provincial or municipal environmental assessment projects and regulatory reporting programs\nDevelop and implement environmental scopes of work and proposals\nCoordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors, third-party stakeholders\nCompile and analyze data, and assist in supporting environmental reports, including: data tables, field observation documentation, GIS/CAD, etc.\nAssist in report writing and preparation of technical memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets and figures\nAssist to project managers and other team members, including geoscientists, biologists, engineers, planners, and environmental scientists\nWe empower our teams to automate the routine so they can focus on high-value, creative problem-solving. You will be encouraged to experiment with AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.\nComply with applicable health and safety procedures and guidelines\nAbility to work remotely if required\nTravel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration, share knowledge, and drive growth across the firm.\nLearning & Development\nCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development\nContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees\nQualifications\nA degree in environmental engineering, or another relevant environmental science/engineering discipline\n0-3 years of experience, with experience in environmental consulting being an asset\nStrong work ethic with willingness to conduct field work\nValid Driver’s License\nExperience\nKnowledge in several of: air and noise modelling and monitoring, field procedures, basic chemistry, contracting/construction, site characterization, waste management, landfill design, health and safety will be considered an asset\nExperience working in industrial/manufacturing facilities and around heavy equipment, including drill rigs and excavators, will be considered an asset\nStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills\nExceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills\nDemonstrated abilities to work in multidisciplinary team and independently\nKnowledge of relevant provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies will be considered an asset\nProficiency in AUTOCAD, GIS, Surfer or database abilities will be an asset\nStrong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office family of products\nCompensation $50,000-$80,000At Dillon, we believe in transparency. The following salary range is what we expect to offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
