Because we are an employee-owned firm, your voice will be an essential part of our shared success.\nResponsibilities\nProject Management and Technical Activities\nManage complex environmental projects, including Phase I-III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), remediation, human and ecological risk assessments, soil vapour intrusion evaluations, and compliance monitoring. \nServe as a Qualified Person on site assessments, technical reports, and Records of Site Condition (RSC) filings. \nDesign, evaluate, and execute remediation programs and risk management measures (RMMs) for impacted soil, groundwater, and soil vapour across active industrial, commercial, and brownfield properties. \nApply deep operational knowledge of Ontario Regulation (O.Reg.) 153/04 and the Excess Soil Regulation (O.Reg. 406/19). \nLiaise with private and public clients, regulatory bodies (e.g., MECP, conservation authorities), subconsultants and subcontractors. \nContribute to the development and coordination of client relationships and business growth \nDrive business growth by leading proposal preparation (RFP responses), developing new and existing client relationships, and managing key accounts. \nTravel to project sites and client meetings throughout Ontario as needed. \nLearning and Development\nMaintain continuous professional development, staying ahead of evolving provincial/federal regulations, environmental guidelines, and emerging contaminants. \nDrive continuous learning and mentor junior and intermediate staff in report writing, field execution and digital project delivery methodologies, developing the next generation of tech-forward leaders.\nEnhance corporate visibility through active participation in professional associations (e.g., PEO, PGEO, ONEIA) and industry committees. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science. \nActive licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Ontario. \nQualified Person status under O. Reg. 153/04. \nExperience with a range of client types preferred (e.g., federal government departments, private industrial clients, municipalities, first nations)\nProven Project Management experience\nValid Ontario driver’s license \nExperience\n15+ years of environmental consulting experience in Ontario \nComprehensive working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04, Ontario Regulation 406/19 and CCME Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines. \nProven track record preparing and submitting Records of Site Condition (RSCs) and navigating Excess Soil Registry requirements. \nStrong technical background in conceptual site models (CSM), contaminant fate and transport, remedial action plans (RAP), and tender packages/cost estimates for remediation projects. \nCompensation\n$100,000 - $130,000\nDillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
