The successful candidate can be based at any one of our following offices: Winnipeg\nWe offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and Project management\nManagement of transportation engineering team activities and support to project managers/technical staff in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects within the province, for the Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) client. In addition to MTI, the selected individual will also support transportation projects across the province, within the City of Winnipeg and across the company\nDevelopment of technical expertise on a variety of transportation engineering projects, including functional and preliminary designs, detailed designs and contract administration phases, transportation master plans, and owner’s engineering services\nLiaison with multidisciplinary project teams (including transportation, municipal and structural engineers, transportation systems planners, planners, environmental scientists, technical support staff, etc.)\nDevelopment of client relationships and new business opportunities\nContribution to the career development of more junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring\nContributions to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees\nBusiness travel to other Dillon offices upon request\nBusiness Development\nPrepare estimates and project proposals\nContribute to the development of public and private sector client relationships and new business opportunities\nBusiness travel to other Dillon offices upon request\nLearning & Development\nCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development\nContribute to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring\nContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees\nQualifications\nAn undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university\nRegistered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).\nA minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience, preferably with an emphasis on transportation projects within the consulting industry\nProven leadership and business development capabilities\nProven ability as a project manager of multi-disciplinary project teams.
