This role will be a welcome addition to our internal recruitment team which functions as part of Dillon’s human resources department. Your enthusiasm and drive for excellence will present opportunities to chart your own path to success with a rewarding career in our firm.\nResponsibilities\nStrategic Sourcing & Headhunting\nDevelop and execute proactive sourcing and headhunting strategies aligned with Dillon’s business growth priorities and workforce plans.\nIdentify and engage high-calibre passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry directories, competitor research, referrals, and other sourcing channels.\nConduct targeted talent mapping to identify organizations and talent pools that align with current and future hiring requirements.\nBuild and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and anticipated growth-related positions.\nPartner with recruitment project leads to understand growth objectives, priority roles, and anticipated hiring timelines.\nConduct initial exploratory conversations to assess candidate interests, experience, and potential alignment with Dillon.\nCoordinate the transition of interested and qualified candidates to the appropriate RBP or hiring team for further assessment.\nRepresent Dillon professionally and consistently throughout the candidate engagement process.\nProvide actionable insights on talent availability, candidate responsiveness, sourcing channel effectiveness, and recruitment challenges.\nLeverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled sourcing tools responsibly to improve efficiency and effectiveness.\nFollow Dillon’s recruitment processes, confidentiality requirements, and applicable employment legislation.\nQualifications\nPost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience\nFive (5) or more years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, executive search, agency recruitment, or a similar research-intensive talent acquisition role.\nDemonstrated experience identifying and engaging passive candidates through proactive headhunting.\nExperience supporting hard-to-fill positions, specialized professional roles, or high-volume recruitment is an asset.\nStrong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, Boolean search, and other talent research tools.\nExperience conducting competitor research, talent mapping, and market intelligence.\nFamiliarity with consulting, engineering, environmental science, infrastructure, or other professional services industries is an asset.\nWhy choose Dillon\nDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
