This role requires strong expertise in C#/.NET development, data engineering, systems integration, and AI-assisted software development. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, delivery, modernization, and ongoing support of business-critical platforms serving the Global Client Group, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.\nThis is a highly visible technical leadership role accountable for engineering quality, platform reliability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will foster a culture of ownership and accountability, guide technical decisions, develop engineering talent, and use measurable outcomes and data-informed decision making to evaluate performance, prioritize investments, and deliver meaningful business value.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nHire, coach, develop, and hold engineers accountable. Build technical capabilities and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.\nSet technical engineering direction - Establish the long-term direction for the team’s technology, architecture, engineering practices, and capabilities, including AI-assisted engineering, while remaining sufficiently hands-on to understand the codebase, contribute when needed, and effectively guide technical decisions.\nPrioritize and deliver - Use data and measurable outcomes to inform prioritization of work, evaluate tradeoffs, improve team performance, and ensure engineering effort is focused on the highest-value priorities.\nOwn operational health - Use operational data and engineering metrics to understand system health, identified opportunities for improvement, and ensure applications and services are reliable, supportable, and effectively operated.\nOwn engineering risk and security - Ensure vulnerabilities, technical debt, lifecycle risks, controls, and other engineering risks are understood, prioritized, and addressed.\nCommunicate and align - Provide senior leadership and stakeholders with clear, data-informed visibility into priorities, delivery, performance, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nDemonstrated experience leading and developing software engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and building technical capability.\nStrong software engineering background with the technical judgement to guide architecture, engineering practices, operational reliability, and technical tradeoffs.\nWorking knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering practices and emerging agentic development approaches.\nStrong software engineering background with hands-on development experience with C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Snowflake, with the ability and willingness to contribute directly to code when needed.\nExperience translating business and product priorities into engineering direction, priorities, and executable plans.\nDemonstrated ability to use data and metrics to understand performance, identify opportunities, and inform decisions.\nExperience leading teams responsible for production applications, including operational support, reliability, security, and vulnerability management.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and non-technical audiences.\n[redacted] Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Dimensional’s policies.\nDimensional offers a variety of programs to help take care of you, your family, and your career, including comprehensive benefits, educational initiatives, and special celebrations of our history, culture, and growth.\nIt is the policy of the Company to provide equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
