The Role:
Our EnterpriseGroup is responsible forworking with head-offices and wealth management firms across the country.This Senior Associate role will support Regional Directorswith the development of new business opportunities and service Australia based clients. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join a collaborative, high calibreand growing team in an organisationthat has a strong track recordof promoting from within.
Responsibilities:
Articulatecomplex investment principles and capital market research to financial institutions.
Educateclients and prospects on why and how our portfolio solutions are constructed and work the way they do.
Develop and facilitatethe production of responses to complex client drivenrequests among a team of associatesand analysts.
In conjunction with the CRG Manager, mentorand grow a team of high-performingassociates and analysts.
Interact with advisors on practice management related issues.
Develop a robust understanding of the Enterprise businessand related business practices.
Travel with Regional Directors and develop strong business and personal relationships with key clients.
Demonstrable strategic thought in growing the financial institutions groupbusiness.
Developing and constructing complex portfolio analysis forclients and prospects.
Identifyingand discussing key findings of portfolio analyses to clients.
Delivering educational investment related webinars to advisor clients.
Desirable experience and attributes:
5+ years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry.
Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
A strong senseof professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards.
Demonstration of initiative, accountabilityand a focus on delivering consistent quality work.
Commitment to the philosophy and process underlying Dimensional’ s investment approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key selling points in a clear and compelling manner.
Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently.
Ability to prioritiseand exercise time managementskills.
A proven track recordand history of sales success is preferable.
Strong analytical skills.
Detail orientated.
Qualifications:
Bachelorsdegree required. MBA and/or CFA stronglypreferred.
Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed
Solid quantitative problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
